Clearing

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as her debut studio album, 'Clearing' represents an immersive, soundscape-driven statement from American multidisciplinary artist Hyd. Released through the influential PC Music label, the ten-track record explores themes of sensory healing, spiritual rebirth, and natural restoration following a severe physical fire accident. The lush, liquid production, crafted alongside prominent co-producers Caroline Polachek, A. G. Cook, Jónsi, and the late SOPHIE, balances glittering bubblegum bass and synthpop with delicate ambient pop environments.
