Hyd

Biography

Hyd is the music project of American multidisciplinary artist Hayden Dunham. A longtime collaborator within the #PC Music# collective, Hyd is known for a highly conceptual and atmospheric approach to pop music. Before debuting as Hyd, Dunham was the face of the collaborative project QT with producers *A. G. Cook* and the late *SOPHIE*. Hyd's solo work, including the 2022 debut album 'CLEARING', explores themes of transformation, vulnerability, and regeneration through a synthesis of glitching electronic textures and intimate vocals. The music often features contributions from close collaborators, including *Caroline Polachek*, *Jónsi*, and *Danny L Harle*, creating a sound that is both experimental and emotionally resonant.
