Into the Abyss

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Peter Tägtgren leads the legendary Swedish death metal act back toward their brutally fast roots while retaining their signature atmosphere. 'Into the Abyss' balances neck-breaking blast beats and guttural roars with sweeping, melancholic guitar leads and science-fiction themes. The production is sharp and massive, perfectly summarizing the band's influential dual identity as both savage and melodic.
