Biography
Hypocrisy is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in Ludvika in 1991 by Peter Tägtgren. Beginning as raw, Florida-influenced death metal on 'Penetralia' (1992), the band broadened into a melodic, atmospheric style as Tägtgren assumed vocals alongside bassist Mikael Hedlund, the other constant member. Albums including 'Abducted', 'Virus' and 'Worship' (2021), all on #Nuclear Blast#, pair heavy riffing with lyrics about extraterrestrials, conspiracies and psychological darkness.
