Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his departure from Echo & the Bunnymen, the iconic vocalist delivered his second solo album, embracing a considerably brighter and more buoyant pop sound. 'Mysterio' incorporates shimmering jangle pop guitars and lush orchestrations, highlighted by his distinctively rich, yearning baritone and a surprising, heavily produced cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Lover Lover Lover'. Despite its polished hooks, the record failed to achieve the massive commercial heights of his former band.
