Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Ry Cooder, the legendary Buena Vista Social Club vocalist delivers a profoundly elegant and romantic collection of traditional Cuban music. Backed by a stellar ensemble of virtuoso acoustic musicians, Ferrer's voice remains remarkably smooth and expressive despite his advanced age. The recording beautifully preserves and revitalizes classic son and bolero structures for a global audience.
