The Predator Becomes the Prey

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Predator Becomes the Prey' finds the Boston outfit transitioning completely away from their early post-hardcore stylings into a polished, aggressively heavy metalcore sound. The record serves as a bridge toward the theatrical, horror-themed identity they would later fully adopt, hinting at conceptual lyricism alongside blistering breakdowns. It marked their first charting success on the Billboard 200, significantly raising their profile.
