Album Notes & Community Reviews
Representing a high-water mark for the Catalan progressive scene, 'Arc-en-ciel' delivers breathtakingly fast, technically dazzling jazz-rock interplay. The group leans heavily on the virtuosic guitar runs of Max Sunyer and the dizzying keyboard work of Josep Mas, crafting compositions that rival the intensity of top-tier international fusion acts. It is widely considered one of the most sophisticated instrumental records to emerge from post-Franco Spain.
