Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking her major-label debut, '0' is centered on Ichiko Aoba's arrestingly intimate vocal delivery and intricate classical guitar compositions. The album is noted for its experimental and adventurous arrangements, which incorporate ambient field recordings from locations such as a tunnel, blending environmental sounds with her minimalist folk performance to create a uniquely immersive and dreamlike quality. It also features two covers of songs by her mentor, Anmi Yamada, grounding the album's innovative sound with a clear nod to her artistic lineage.
