Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking the debut of a profound new voice in Japanese contemporary folk, 'Kamisori otome 鍓冨垁涔欏コ' introduced Ichiko Aoba's signature minimalist approach to composition. Armed almost entirely with a classical guitar, Aoba crafted intricate, delicate fingerpicked arrangements that underscore her ethereal vocal delivery. The album's stripped-down, intimately quiet production established a dedicated cult following and set the foundation for her celebrated acoustic discography.
