Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Oakland, California-based art-rock collective Idiot Flesh unleashes an incredibly theatrical, wildly chaotic barrage of genre-hopping avant-garde metal on 'The Nothing Show'. The album heavily relies on terrifyingly abrupt structural shifts, blending incredibly heavy, Mr. Bungle-esque funk-metal riffs directly with bizarre circus music and atonal dissonance. It successfully captures the highly confrontational, performative madness that defined their legendary live shows.
