Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as her first album as an independent artist, 'In My Defense' sees Iggy Azalea leaning heavily into trap and pop rap aesthetics. Produced largely by J. White Did It, the project attempts to recreate the bouncy, boastful energy of modern Southern club hip-hop. Despite a defiant tone, the album was met with polarized commercial and critical reception.
