Album Notes & Community Reviews

The endlessly inventive London ensemble delivers an incredibly dense, highly technical foray into sprawling avant-garde improvisation and cinematic dark jazz. Grounded by deeply complex, hypnotic rhythmic interplay, the saxophone and bass lines frequently venture into the profound, atmospheric spaces characteristic of spiritual post-bop. It stands as a masterfully focused, completely instrumental triumph of modern European jazz.
