Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by the massive, hypnotic success of the single 'Just an Illusion', this sophomore record cemented the trio as the leading purveyors of sophisticated British dance-pop. Producers Jolley & Swain draped Leee John's falsetto vocals in lush, heavily synthesized boogie arrangements characterized by deep, grooving basslines. It stands as a timeless artifact of the early 80s club era, influencing countless house and modern soul producers.
