Album Notes & Community Reviews

Defined by the staggering, powerhouse vocal performance of Jocelyn Brown, this debut is a monumental classic of the New York disco and boogie era. The title track, heavily propelled by the immaculate production of Patrick Adams and Greg Carmichael, became a legendary underground club anthem. The album perfectly bridges the lush, orchestral extravagance of 1970s disco with the heavier synth-funk grooves of the 1980s.
