Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by composer John Mills-Cockell, sculptor Michael Hayden, and poet Blake Parker, the Canadian multimedia collective Intersystems produced boundary-pushing sensory environments. Their debut 'Number One' is an uncompromising collision of early synthesizer drones, tape loops, and disjointed poetry that predated industrial music. It stands as a terrifyingly ahead-of-its-time artifact of 1960s avant-garde subversion.
