Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded rapidly on an extremely tight budget, this debut album was pivotal in establishing the 1980s British neo-progressive rock movement. The band expertly navigates complex, Genesis-inspired time signatures and sprawling, multi-part suites, anchored by Peter Nicholls' theatrical vocal delivery. Despite the somewhat thin, independent production, it remains a beloved foundational text for modern progressive rock enthusiasts.
