Biography
IQ are a British neo-progressive rock band from Southampton, formed in 1981 by Mike Holmes and Martin Orford of *The Lens*. Fronted for most of their career by Peter Nicholls, they built a loyal following with 'Tales from the Lush Attic' (1983), 'The Wake' (1985), 'Ever' (1993) and 'Subterranea' (1997), and remain active, releasing 'Dominion' in 2025 with the classic lineup largely restored around Holmes, Nicholls, Esau and Cook.
