Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by its legendary, sprawling 17-minute title track, Iron Butterfly achieved massive commercial success with a slow, grinding approach to acid rock. 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida' is fiercely energetic and wonderfully dense, utilizing heavily distorted, remarkably hypnotic organ-driven riffs to craft deeply psychedelic, slightly mellow hard-rock grooves.
