Album Notes & Community Reviews
Introducing drummer Nicko McBrain to solidify their classic lineup, 'Piece of Mind' showcases Iron Maiden elevating their heavy metal gallop to an incredibly tight, highly melodic standard. The album explores dense themes of mythology, warfare, and literature through soaring twin-guitar harmonies and Bruce Dickinson's operatic, passionate vocals. It remains a deeply energetic, epic cornerstone of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
