Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Virtual XI', Iron Maiden continues their late-90s transition, leaning into highly melodic heavy metal and progressive song structures. The album delivers anthemic, epic fantasy narratives through a notably introspective, albeit polarizing, rhythmic approach following the departure of Bruce Dickinson.
