Album Notes & Community Reviews

Maintaining his signature laid-back, Tulsa-sound aesthetic, the influential singer-songwriter delivered his fifth studio outing with characteristic understated cool. The production is distinctively relaxed, heavily emphasizing his whispered vocal delivery and incredibly fluid, economical guitar work. It further solidified his reputation as a master of atmospheric, blues-inflected roots rock during a period dominated by slicker studio productions.
