Album Notes & Community Reviews

The virtuoso guitarist continues his masterful expansion of the acoustic solitary guitar tradition pioneered by John Fahey. Through highly complex fingerpicking and the prominent use of a lap steel, he weaves deeply hypnotic, long-form ragas that draw equally from rural Appalachian blues and Eastern drone music. It solidified his standing as an unparalleled master of the modern American primitive revival.
