Album Notes & Community Reviews

Radically dismantling his traditional garage rock sound, the former White Stripes frontman delivered an incredibly bizarre, highly experimental solo record. The project wildly splices his signature blues-rock guitar playing with heavy drum machine programming, spoken word poetry, and jarring electronic synthesizer bursts. While highly polarizing to his traditional fanbase, it stands as a fascinatingly chaotic, unapologetic artistic detour.
