Djesse, Vol. 1

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first installment of his ambitious four-volume project features the Metropole Orkest and highlights Collier's mastery of expansive orchestral arrangements and microtonal vocal layering. The arrangements prioritize high-contrast dynamics and structural complexity that bridge the gap between traditional chamber music and contemporary soul. It remains a key artifact of his technical virtuosity, prioritize structural depth and communal creative energy within a high-fidelity frame.
