Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released simultaneously with a darker counterpart album, 'Champagne pour tout le monde' finds Jacques Higelin in a jubilant, wildly eclectic mood. He marries the deep theatrical and poetic traditions of French chanson with the swaggering guitars and vibrant energy of glam rock. The project successfully captured his legendary, unpredictable stage persona, scoring massive commercial success across France.
