Album Notes & Community Reviews

Spearheaded by the enigmatic Antonio Bartoccetti, this impossibly rare Italian pressing is shrouded in myth and occult imagery. Blending funereal church organ, dark liturgical chanting, and sparse, avant-garde rock elements, the music generates an overwhelmingly oppressive, genuinely terrifying atmosphere of ritualistic darkness. It is an unparalleled oddity of 1970s underground music that directly anticipated the gothic and dark ambient movements.
