Biography
Italian occult rock band from Milan, founded in the late 1960s by Antonio Bartoccetti with Doris Norton, organist Charles Tiring and medium Franz Porthenzy. Jacula's church organ, Latin titles and ritual atmosphere made 'In Cauda Semper Stat Venenum' and 'Tardo Pede in Magiam Versus' (1972) cult landmarks of dark Italian progressive rock. The core continued as *Antonius Rex* from 1974, and the Jacula name returned for 'Pre Viam' in 2011.
