The second album by the large Norwegian ensemble Jaga Jazzist was their first to be released internationally on the influential Ninja Tune label. The record is a dense and complex fusion of nu jazz, electronica, and post-rock, showcasing the group's tight arrangements and technical skill. It was a critical breakthrough that brought their eclectic, progressive sound to a wider audience, earning them the Alarm Prize for best jazz album.
