Biography
Jaga Jazzist is a Norwegian jazz ensemble from Tønsberg, formed in 1994 around brothers Lars and Martin Horntveth and their sister Line. A large collective of horns, guitars, keyboards and electronics, the band mixes jazz with post rock and electronica. Their album 'A Livingroom Hush' was voted the BBC's best jazz album of 2002, and later records such as 'What We Must', 'One-Armed Bandit', 'Starfire' and 'Pyramid' confirmed them as a leading act of the Scandinavian nu jazz scene.
