Album Notes & Community Reviews
The acclaimed folk interpreter and guitarist unearths another collection of deeply historical American roots music, transforming traditional folk songs and work hollers into highly atmospheric Americana. Grounded by his warm, baritone delivery and intricate Piedmont Blues fingerpicking, the record feels distinctly pastoral and intensely poetic. It serves as a beautifully calm, mellow revitalization of musical ancestry.
