Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the weird-pop underground, this dizzying project deconstructs and weaponizes the glossy, artificial aesthetics of 1980s commercial culture. Utilizing lo-fi production and chaotic sound collage techniques, it acts as a bizarre, hypnagogic satire of American consumerism. The release proved to be a pivotal precursor to the vaporwave movement that would dominate internet-based music in the following years.
