Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as the fifth installment in the revered mix series, 'Balance 005' is a landmark double-disc compilation that marked a significant shift away from the prevailing dark, tribal progressive house of the era. The set is distinguished by its forward-thinking track selection, blending melodic trance, electro, glitchy tech-house, and breaks with a cerebral and often psychedelic sensibility. Holden's mixing is intricate and seamless, utilizing bespoke edits and quick transitions to construct a fluid, thought-provoking journey that elevated the format from a simple collection of tracks to a cohesive artistic statement.
