Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by John Mellencamp, this debut established the artist as a razor-sharp observer of small-town American decline. Featuring terse, narrative-driven songwriting, 'Too Long in the Wasteland' effectively distills literary storytelling into gritty, unpretentious rock arrangements.
