Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Where'd You Hide the Body' finds Texas troubadour James McMurtry further sharpening his fiercely observant, highly literate brand of Americana. Produced by Don Dixon, the album features punchier, noticeably rock-oriented instrumentation that beautifully supports his signature deadpan delivery and intricate, cinematic character sketches of rural American life. It stands as a vital, deeply narrative-driven highlight of 90s roots rock.
