Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Brian Eno, 'Laid' finds the British band James moving away from stadium rock toward a deeply atmospheric and highly intimate sound. The album is an incredibly lush, mellow collection of melodic alternative rock and indie pop, defined by Tim Booth's passionate and bittersweet vocal performances.
