Album Notes & Community Reviews
Delayed heavily due to significant label disputes, the Manchester group's sophomore effort finally emerged to bridge the gap between their jangly indie-pop origins and an increasingly expansive, anthemic rock sound. Tim Booth's distinctive vocals soar over urgent, rhythmically complex melodies that hinted at their massive impending stadium success.
