Album Notes & Community Reviews
The English soul crooner drastically pivoted away from the organic, Motown-inspired aesthetics of his previous work for this heavily synthesized self-titled album. The project fully embraces neon-soaked 1980s funk and Prince-style electro-R&B, featuring massive drum machine programming perfectly tailored for his highly rhythmic, charismatic vocal performances.
