Album Notes & Community Reviews

Translating to 'fairytale', 'Eventyr' sees the Norwegian saxophonist delving deeply into his Nordic roots alongside guitarist John Abercrombie and percussionist Nana Vasconcelos. The trio conjures vast, icy soundscapes that blend minimalist European jazz with subtle, world-music-inspired rhythmic undertones.
