A Doorway to Elsewhere

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jane's 'A Doorway to Elsewhere' delivers a chaotic and abrasive style of metalcore, defined by its dynamic songwriting, blistering metal riffs, and intense screamed vocals. The German band's powerful performance creates a brutal and noisy soundscape that incorporates influences from black metal, drawing comparisons to pioneering acts like Converge. With its raw production and cryptically dark themes, the album stands as a significant work within the late-90s European hardcore scene.
