Biography
Jane was a German Krautrock band from Hanover, formed in 1970 and led throughout by drummer and singer Peter Panka. Their albums for #Brain Records#, from 'Together' (1972) to 'Age of Madness' (1978), paired Klaus Hess's guitar and Werner Nadolny's keyboards with slow tempos and polished arrangements. The original band split in 1982; Panka later toured as *Peter Panka's Jane* until his death in 2007, while other former members used their own prefixed versions of the name.
