Stand Above the Streams

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On his sophomore solo album, the Montreal saxophonist continues to explore the unique biofeedback system he developed for his debut. 'Stand Above the Streams' is another immersive work where his own breathing and heart-rate control a host of electronic textures, creating a symbiotic relationship between body and machine. The album blends long, hypnotic saxophone drones with pulsing electroacoustic rhythms, resulting in a powerful and meditative sonic experience.
