Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary punk trio's major-label debut infamously fractured their deeply loyal underground fanbase due to its polished production and Blake Schwarzenbach's cleaner, post-surgery vocal delivery. Despite the intense contemporary backlash that contributed to the band's dissolution shortly after, its introspective, densely melodic songwriting proved incredibly forward-thinking. It is now universally recognized as a foundational masterpiece of modern emo and pop-punk.
