Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as a soundtrack to a film, this album from the West Coast rapper is a cinematic and narrative-driven work. 'Once Upon a Time' is steeped in the classic sounds of G-funk and gangsta rap, with smooth, laid-back beats providing the backdrop for vivid storytelling about street life. It's another stylish and impeccably executed project from one of the genre's most consistent voices.
