Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following his legendary orchestral arrangements for Serge Gainsbourg's 'Histoire de Melody Nelson', the French composer released this bewilderingly complex, entirely instrumental solo concept album. Blending lush string sections, fuzzy rock guitars, choir vocals, and frantic tape edits, the music depicts a surreal, grotesque narrative of a child violently interacting with insects. It is a wildly creative cult masterpiece of cinematic avant-rock.
