Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring a phenomenal backing band including guitarist Daryl Stuermer and bassist Tom Fowler, the French electric violinist delivers a staggering clinic in high-energy jazz-rock. The compositions brilliantly balance complex, heavily syncopated funk rhythms with airy, incredibly fast-paced melodic improvisations. It marked a highly successful, slightly more accessible pivot for Ponty during his mid-70s solo run.
