Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely solo, 'Forfolks' captures Jeff Parker utilizing looped electric guitar to create delicate, highly texturized ambient spaces. The album relies heavily on spontaneous improvisation layered over cyclical minimalist foundations, demonstrating his mastery of tone and restraint. It provides an intimate, meditative counterpoint to his more rhythm-heavy ensemble jazz recordings.
