Album Notes & Community Reviews
Becoming one of the most overtly political bands of the counterculture era, Jefferson Airplane delivered a fiercely rebellious, anti-war rallying cry. 'Volunteers' is wonderfully melodic and highly conscious, driving incredibly passionate, heavily psychedelic folk-rock arrangements through deeply anarchic themes of protest and pastoral country-rock jamming.
