Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his legendary, entirely self-contained 'one-man band' setup, the highly inventive acoustic bluesman delivers a remarkably joyous, rhythmically driving collection of folk narratives. The tracks heavily feature his simultaneous utilization of a twelve-string guitar, harmonica, and his custom-built fotdella鈥攁 foot-operated bass instrument. The incredibly unique, deeply authentic performances introduced his iconic composition 'San Francisco Bay Blues' and profoundly inspired the 1960s acoustic revival.
