Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing a noticeably darker, much more guitar-heavy sound, Jethro Tull's third album perfectly bridged their early blues roots with their forthcoming progressive rock epics. 'Benefit' is fiercely energetic and wonderfully sombre, matching deeply introspective, surprisingly pessimistic lyricism with beautifully pastoral flute melodies and hard-hitting, slightly psychedelic riffs.
